We know that once you place an order, you want it to arrive accurately, safely, and on time. This page explains everything about how Amino Asylum processes, packages, and ships orders — including what happens when something does not go as planned.
We have written this policy to be direct and complete. If your question is not answered here, email sales@aminoasylumofficial.com and a real person will respond within 24 hours.
1. Order Processing
1.1 Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days of being placed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.
Orders placed before 12:00 PM Eastern Time on a business day are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET, or on weekends and holidays, begin processing the next business day.
You will receive an email confirmation when your order is placed and a second email with your tracking number when your order has been shipped. If you do not receive a shipping confirmation within 3 business days of your order confirmation, contact us at sales@aminoasylumofficial.com.
1.2 Order Verification
To protect our customers and maintain compliance with applicable regulations, some orders may require additional verification before processing. If your order is selected for verification, our team will contact you directly via the email address on your account. Orders under verification hold will not be delayed beyond 1 additional business day in most cases.
1.3 Product Availability
All products listed on aminoasylumofficial.com are subject to availability. In the rare event that a product you ordered is out of stock after your order is placed, we will contact you within 1 business day to offer:
- A full refund to your original payment method
- A store credit for the out-of-stock item while the rest of your order ships
- A backorder hold if restocking is expected within a reasonable timeframe (we will confirm the timeline clearly)
We will never substitute a product without your explicit approval.

Delivery time estimates begin from the date of shipment, not the date of order placement. Add 1–2 business days processing time to calculate your expected arrival date.
Delivery time estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed, particularly during peak periods, severe weather, or carrier-side disruptions.
2.2 Free Shipping Threshold
Orders over $500 automatically qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous United States. Free shipping is applied at checkout and does not require a coupon code.
Free shipping applies to the contiguous 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii, and US territories are not included in the free shipping threshold and are subject to calculated shipping rates at checkout.
2.3 Carriers We Use
We ship domestic orders via:
- USPS — First Class, Priority Mail
- UPS — Ground, 2-Day Air, Next Day Air
- FedEx — Ground, 2Day, Overnight
The carrier and service level for your specific order is selected based on your chosen shipping method, your delivery address, and product handling requirements. You will see the carrier name on your shipping confirmation email along with your tracking number.
2.4 PO Boxes and Military Addresses
We ship to PO Boxes via USPS. We ship to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses via USPS Priority Mail. Delivery times to military addresses may be longer than standard estimates and are subject to military postal service processing.
3. International Shipping
3.1 Countries We Currently Ship To
Amino Asylum Official currently ships to the following countries and regions:

If your country is not listed, we are unable to ship to your location at this time. We are working to expand our international shipping footprint as our compliance review for each jurisdiction is completed.

International delivery estimates are significantly more variable than domestic estimates due to customs processing times, which are outside our control. The estimates above reflect carrier-side transit time only.
3.3 Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes
All international shipments may be subject to customs inspection, import duties, and local taxes imposed by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping fee paid at checkout.
Amino Asylum Official has no control over customs clearance timelines or import fee amounts. These are determined entirely by the laws and processes of the destination country.
We strongly recommend that international customers:
- Research the import regulations for research compounds in their country before ordering
- Be prepared for potential customs fees upon delivery
- Understand that customs processing can add significant time to the delivery estimate
We cannot mark shipments as "gifts" or misrepresent their value or contents on customs documentation. Doing so is illegal and we will not do it under any circumstances.
3.4 International Delivery Failures
If an international shipment is refused at customs, returned to us, or undeliverable due to import restrictions in the destination country:
- We will notify you when the package is returned to us
- We will offer a refund of the product cost only — original shipping fees are non-refundable in this scenario
- Return shipping costs from the destination country to our warehouse may be deducted from the refund if the carrier charges us for the return
It is the customer's responsibility to understand whether research compounds can be legally imported into their country before placing an order. We are not responsible for customs seizures or import refusals.
4. Packaging and Product Handling
4.1 Discreet Packaging
All Amino Asylum orders are shipped in plain, unbranded outer packaging. The Amino Asylum name and brand do not appear on the outside of any package. Your privacy as a researcher is important to us.
The packing slip inside your package will show your order details. If you need the packing slip omitted for any reason, note this in the order comments at checkout or email us immediately after placing your order.
4.2 Temperature-Sensitive Products
Certain research compounds require cold chain handling to maintain integrity during transit. Products with cold chain requirements are clearly labeled on their product pages.
For temperature-sensitive orders:
- We use insulated packaging with appropriate cold packs or dry ice depending on the product and transit time
- We monitor weather conditions along shipping routes and may hold shipments during extreme heat events to protect product integrity — if this affects your order, we will notify you
- We recommend selecting expedited shipping for temperature-sensitive products, particularly during summer months
- We cannot be responsible for product degradation if a customer selects standard shipping for a product clearly labeled as temperature-sensitive
4.3 Packaging Integrity
Every order is inspected and sealed before shipment. If your package arrives with visible damage to the outer packaging, photograph it before opening and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Do not use any product that arrived in visibly compromised packaging — contact us first.
5. Tracking Your Order
5.1 Tracking Notifications
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched. You can use this tracking number on the carrier's website to monitor your shipment in real time.
Tracking information may take up to 4 hours after you receive the shipping confirmation email to appear in the carrier's system. If tracking is not showing after 4 hours, the package is en route and tracking will update at the next carrier scan.
5.2 Tracking Not Updating
If your tracking has not updated for more than 3 business days (domestic) or 7 business days (international), contact us at sales@aminoasylumofficial.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and update you within 1 business day.
5.3 Marked Delivered But Not Received
If your tracking shows "Delivered" but you have not received your package:
- Check all delivery locations at your address — mailbox, front door, side entrance, with a neighbor, or at a building reception
- Wait 24 hours — carriers occasionally mark packages delivered slightly before physical delivery
- Check with other members of your household
- If the package is still not found after 24 hours, contact us at sales@aminoasylumofficial.com
We will file a carrier investigation. Most carriers require 24–48 hours after a "Delivered" scan before opening an investigation. We will keep you updated throughout the process and work toward a resolution — either a replacement shipment or a refund — based on the investigation outcome.
6. Shipping Restrictions
6.1 Restricted Products by State
The legal status of certain research compounds varies by US state. Before placing an order, it is your responsibility to verify that the products you are ordering can be legally received in your state. Amino Asylum Official will not ship products to states where they are explicitly prohibited.
At checkout, our system will flag any products in your cart that cannot be shipped to your selected state. If a product is restricted in your state, you will not be able to complete the purchase for that item.
6.2 Age Verification
Amino Asylum products are intended for adult researchers only. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to cancel orders where age verification cannot be confirmed.
6.3 Refused Deliveries
If you refuse delivery of your order without prior authorization from our team, return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund issued. To arrange a return, always contact us before refusing delivery.
7. Address Accuracy
It is your responsibility to provide a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Amino Asylum Official is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
If you notice an address error after placing your order:

- Include your order number and the correct address
- If the order has not yet shipped, we will update the address at no charge
- If the order has already shipped, we will attempt to intercept it with the carrier — interception is not guaranteed and may incur a carrier fee
Address corrections after shipment cannot always be accommodated and we cannot guarantee the outcome. Please double-check your address carefully at checkout.
8. Delays and Disruptions
8.1 Carrier Delays
Carrier delays due to weather events, peak shipping periods (holidays), natural disasters, or carrier-side operational issues are outside our control. We will communicate proactively if we become aware of widespread carrier disruptions affecting our shipments.
In the event of a significant carrier delay, contact us and we will work with you on a case-by-case basis to find the best resolution.
8.2 Our Processing Delays
In the rare event that we experience a processing delay on our end — due to inventory, staffing, or operational circumstances — we will notify affected customers by email within 1 business day of identifying the delay, with a revised estimated ship date. You will have the option to wait for the delayed shipment or cancel for a full refund.
9. Lost or Stolen Packages
Lost Packages A package is considered lost if the carrier tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days (domestic) or 21 business days (international) and the carrier investigation does not locate the shipment. In this case, we will ship a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund — your choice.
Stolen Packages ("Porch Piracy") If your tracking confirms delivery but your package was stolen, we will assist you in filing a report with the carrier and, where applicable, local law enforcement. Replacement or refund for stolen packages is assessed on a case-by-case basis and may depend on carrier claim outcomes. We strongly recommend customers in high-theft areas use a secure delivery address, a parcel locker, or delivery instructions that reduce theft risk.
